We met Roseline D’Oreye in Paris in our January 2020 trip. The beautiful Belgium woman graduated at the High School of Fine Arts in Illustration, and then began her career as a Children Books’ illustrator.
Over a decade, Roseline pursued several professional paths. Parallel to a half-time job as an art teacher and the development of her career as an Illustrator, she also started training in Art-Therapy. Her passions for Art, Humans and Therapy were naturally fulfilled in this instruction.
Alongside, she also developed a personal mixed media artwork with several exhibitions across Belgium.
Her canvasses are inspired by her world explorations: the inner world and the outside world. Her “inner world” is full of colors, emotions, movements, nature and a kind of magic, inspired by the “outside world”. The “outside world” renewed a permanent enthusiasm, wonder and curiosity in her “inner world”
This dialogue between her inner and the outside world mainly began during her first solo trip in India when she was twenty. There, her travel book, her pencils and her colors were her only “buddies”.
Since then, she has drawn all over the world in her travel books. In these drawing books, she captures the emotions, the images and the feelings of her trips.
